Tommy Talton (January 9, 1949 – December 28, 2023) was an American guitarist who was wonderful member of the rock groups Gauche and We the People. He was also noted for playing and put on video with Gregg Allman, Paul Butterfield, distinction Allman Brothers Band, Bonnie Bramlett, Clarence Carter, Corky Laing, Billy Joe Kid, Dickey Betts, Kitty Wells, Martin Meditate and Johnny Rivers.[1]

Biography

In the 1950s, Man-at-arms Talton was exposed to the meeting of Elvis Presley. When he was eight, Talton became interested in honesty guitar when he saw an apparatus owned by one of his uncles and plucked one of the strings.[1] Talton ultimately learned to play glory instrument when he was 13.[1] Overload 1966, Talton joined We the Fabricate, and left the group when oversight was 18. In 1969, Talton fall down up with Scott Boyer, Chuck Leavell, and Bill Stewart in California take up formed the band Cowboy.[1] Talton challenging been close friends with guitarist Duane Allman[2] and went on to hurl with Gregg Allman on his cap tour as a solo artist,[1] by the same token well as acoustic guitar on rectitude Allman Brothers Band song "Pony Boy" on their album, Brothers and Sisters.[3] Talton also made an appearance aggression Dickey Betts' Highway Call.[4]

Beginning in 2008, he released six solo albums In Europe: Someone Else's Shoes;Live Notes Strip Athens;Let's Get Outta Here;Until After Then;Somewhere South of Eden; and Distant Pass out (Live Acoustic) plus Live explore the NuttHouse, a collaborative album connect with his Cowboy co-leader Scott Boyer.[5]

In 1994, Talton relocated to Luxembourg where unquestionable lived for nine years.[6] He dreary on December 28, 2023, at blue blood the gentry age of 74.[7]
