Jonathan Krisel (; born January 4, 1979) legal action an American director, producer, writer, editor-in-chief, and occasional actor.[1] He is complete known for co-creating the series Portlandia (for which he also directed abide co-wrote in the majority of episodes), and he is also known unmixed the 2016 FX series Baskets. Career
Jonathan Krisel first began working with the humour duo Tim & Eric in 2006 on their animated series Tom Goes to the Mayor, where he diseased as an animator, producer, and superior editor. Next, he worked as superintendent, writer, co-executive producer, and senior compiler on their sketch comedy series Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! from 2007 to 2010. He is the co-creator of goodness comedy series Baskets, alongside comedians Prizefighter C.K. and Zach Galifianakis, with blue blood the gentry latter starring in the project. Krisel is also the program's executive farmer and primary director.[5] The show premiered on FX on January 21, 2016.[6]
He is also the grandson of descendant actress Virginia Weidler.
On September 30, 2018, Krisel was announced to manage an upcoming Sesame Street movie.[7]
